So what does a Doula actually do?

Doulas have been around for centuries. The word can be traced back to ancient Greece and it

translates as 'women of service'.

In todays modern world there are many doulas working in this non-medical role, supporting people through

transitions in life. Some focus on births, some focus on major life changes and some focus on the outgoing journey , working with the dying, respecting their wishes as they approach end of life.

A doulas role can be quite broad and they offer a wide range of services. A package can be tailored to your individual needs in a free 1 hour consultation.
